Hi there, the Fernley Farmers Market caters to the small farmer, the home grown, back-yard gardener, & community gardens. We support agriculture, farming, and FREE ENTERPRISE. Our motto is...

"When Levees break - no farms. No farms - NO FOOD!"

Farmers, ranchers, home growers, community gardens - booth space is FREE, however, if you sell other items that are not part of the farming environment ya gotta pay booth space! We believe in health and wellness and we are a member of the Healthy Communities Coalition. Come join in on the fun!

FREE Outdoor Movies in the Park!
Saturday, September 26, 2009
The Fernley Farmers Market will host Movies in the Park on Saturday September 26, 2009 starting at sundown, at the IN TOWN PARK. The In Town Park is located just behind the China Chef Restaurant on 95A. This event is made possible by the new Journey Community Church and hosted by the Fernley Farmers Market. Bring your blankets! The concession stand is hosted by the Fernley Multi Cultural Group. For more info, contact CJ at (775) 846-0494.

Don't forget the farmers market/open air market is still going on and is held every Saturday from July 11th thru Oct 3rd from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the In Town Park...get your farm-fresh produce, fruits and veggies! Also, all of our farmers are registered to take the Senior Coupons, too! Most farmers are selling out fast!
BOOTH FEES:
Fees for a 10 X 10 booth space for the 2009 season are $17.00 per week

Remember, farmers and home gardeners are FREE, however, restrictions do apply.
ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE A EZ-UP OR POP-UP TENT AND MUST BE WEIGHTED DOWN FOR WIND RESISTANCE - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Farmers, crafters and backyard gardeners are encouraged to participate. Food vendors are encouraged to attend too. If you are a food vendor, call us for further details. Lastly - sorry - we do not allow vendor exclusives at the farmers market. We will do everything in our power to try to separate vendors who sell the same product(s).

Our 2009 Cookbook Project


The cookbook project was one of the easiest "fun" raising projects we have ever done! We want to take this time to thank all the individuals and the farmers markets from across America for participating in this project. We truly could not have done it without you.

The cookbooks are here!
If you are interested in purchasing a book, each book will cost $15.00 + shipping (if not local). Shipping is billed separately. Each book comes with a State of Nevada cookie cutter! We have a special too - if you purchase 4 books you'll get a 5th book for FREE! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Fernley/Wadsworth Lions Club.
